Childrens Birthday Parties

The children's show involves lots of audience participation, comedy, fun and magic. Your children's will laugh there head off. Entertaining also for the 'older children' that we sometimes call adults. The whole audience becomes involved with completing some of the magic. The show can finish with balloons being made as a gift to take home. Typically a 30 minute show, but with balloons can extend out to an hour. See my birthday party planner for more information.

Company Family Days

Whether it be the company Christmas party or an annual barbeque, the opportunity to make it an event that the families will remember is one that should not be missed. Show can be small scale like a private birthday party in the home, or larger scale with sound system, larger effects and presented on a stage if necessary.

Close Up Table Magic

This is the most intimate of magic, where the magician will join the guests at the table and the magic will happen on the table or in the hands of the guests. In a restaurant environment the magic often occurs between the order and arrival of the entree's - this way the entertainment does not increase the guests time at table.

Strolling Magic

The magican will move around the venue, mingling and entertaining as he goes. Can be aimed at adult groups or at family events. This type of show requires no special performance area and so is very flexible.

Probably one of the more unusual strolling events Edward Hall Magician has done was being the Wellington City Council's magician at the opening of the Oriental Bay beach. Magic on the sand!

Weddings and Special Events

Almost any event can be enhanced through a professional magician. Shows can be a combination of any of the show types - childrens shows, close up at the tables or strolling around the guests.

Edward also have routines specially aimed at shows when entertaining larger groups. Some of you may have seen Edward Hall Magician on stage in the Wellington Magic Club shows in 2013 and 2014. Edward can supply his own sound system when supporting these larger events.

Balloon Modelling

Balloons are always popular with the children. Be that a balloon dog, cat, teddy bear or flower. Balloons can form a show on their own, or be used in conjunction with any of the shows above.
